Beatrice (Trixie) Maude BEVERIDGE (nee Latham) was born on the 30th August 1883 in Devonport, Tasmania. After moving to Western Australia she met and married Dr William John BEVERAGE on the 19th June 1907. Their daughters Murial Alice Jane was born in 1908 and Beatrice Amy arrived to complete the family in 1916. Trixie and her daughters moved to Queensland when her husband secured the job of Medical Superintentant at the Kyoomba Sanatorium in July 1929. She was well liked and active in the community. Therefore it was with great regret that the residents of the town learned the Beveridge family were leaving in November 1930 as Dr Beveridge had received a transfer to a Melbourne Hospital.
After living in Melbourne the family returned to Western Australia where Dr Beverage worked until his death 6th July 1943. Trixie returned to Victoria and remained there until her death at the ago of 82, she is buried in the Heidelberg Cemetery in Victoria.
